At Festival of Sport…it’s not just about the sport we have also got some great entertainment over the weekend – from live music and DJs to cinema and kid’s activities.

Friday
Make sure you get to us in time to join our very own opening ceremony on Friday night hosted by Hear’Say’s Suzanne Shaw and in 2026 featuring our regular party band – The RPJ Band.
RPJ Band are widely regarded as the most successful and energetic band in the events industry and have continually set new standards for performance, musicianship and audience interaction.
Saturday
Saturday night is party night at Festival of Sport.
We are currently working on a headline act for 2026 so keep an eye on our social media for when we confirm the details.
Sunday
To wind down after the busy weekend, Sunday night is when it’s time for our open air cinema time. Past movies have included The Greatest Showman, Matilda and Wicked. But what film will we have in 2026?

We also have a children’s quiet space for chill time, giant games and other activities away from sport. Our resident face painter will be on hand to make kids and adults sparkle and shine, plus a new hair braiding station and so much more planned for 2026.
