All the sports you’ve ever wanted to try and much more besides!

The biggest range of sports in one place!

Festival of Sport centres around a programme of key sports for kids to get involved in, whether they are trying something new for the first time or receiving expert coaching in a sport they love. Core sports include rugby, hockey, cricket, football, netball, tennis, rowing and athletics*.

Alongside our core sports, in 2023,  we also offered taster sessions in trampolining, boxing, MMA, archery, dodgeball, kayaking, lacrosse,  Medieval sword fighting, Wheels Extreme, and many more!* We welcome children of all abilities and aim to be as inclusive and accessible as possible.

*We’re currently working on the list of sports for 2025, so keep an eye out for updates!

Bringing little ones along?

Don’t worry if you have kids under 5. We offer a range of activities for toddlers to get them involved and keep them entertained with an action-packed fun and interactive Tots programme!

Not just for kids

Not even the grown-ups get left on the bench

Over the weekend adults too can take part in a number of activities from sporting taster sessions and fun runs around the beautiful estate, to yoga against the backdrop of one of the finest stately homes in the country.

There is also the opportunity to play alongside the legends in one of the many fun matches that take place throughout the weekend.

Treat yourself

Whilst the kids are running around and having lots of fun we have some great ways for you to take the pace down. Our wellness area offers advice and workshops to really ensure you’re giving yourself the attention you deserve to recharge your batteries.

It's not all about sport!

From the welcome entertainment on Friday night to our closing party on Sunday, we will have some great entertainment on the main stage every night.

With an open air cinema to live bands and DJs…there’s so much more than sport for everyone to enjoy!
