Festival of Sport Terms and Conditions

YOUR ATTENTION IS PARTICULARLY DRAWN TO THE PROVISIONS OF PARAGRAPH 5 (COVID 19) AND PARAGRAPH 6 (LIABILITY).

1. Booking
Upon booking your ticket(s) through our website, you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions. You will be emailed a Booking Confirmation along with your event e-ticket in the form of a QR code.

There will be no admission without a valid e-ticket. 

2. Data Protection
When purchasing your ticket you will be asked to provide your customer details, including a contact mobile telephone number.

Festival of Sport Limited (registered company number 12841003) (‘Festival of Sport’ or ‘we’) is committed to protecting your personal information.

We will only use your personal information as set out in our Privacy Policy here.

3. Refunds
All tickets for Festival of Sport (the Festival) are non-refundable except if the Festival is cancelled, (for reasons including as a result of Covid-19). We shall only be required to refund the face value of the ticket where the Festival is cancelled or postponed before it is started, or as required by applicable law. In the event of postponement of the Festival before it has started, and where it is rescheduled to another date, the ticket holder may elect to either use the existing ticket for the rescheduled date or apply for a refund. Refunds under these circumstances must be applied for within 3 months of the date of cancellation/postponement. Any refund requests must be made by the original purchaser of the ticket. 

We reserve the right to make alterations to the time, date, duration and venue of the Festival in the event of unforeseen or other circumstances, including (but without limitation) Force Majeure, safety and security concerns or decisions from authorised persons or other competent authority. 

Unless otherwise agreed at our sole discretion, a ticket will not be exchanged or refunded if: 

  1. after the Festival has started, it is stopped for any reason and is not completed;
  2. on any day of the Festival, the start time is delayed for any reason;
  3. the start time (but not the date) of the Festival changes after the date the ticket was purchased; or
  4. the ticket is used for entry into the Festival. 
    Tickets are in the form of QR codes and will be scanned upon entry; once a code has been scanned and swapped for a wristband it cannot be used again. 

The first scanned ticket to arrive at the event will be allowed entry; any subsequent ticket with the same code will be denied access. Please treat your ticket as you would cash, the organisers accept no responsibility or liability for any inconvenience caused by the unauthorised duplication of a ticket. Do not post images of your barcode on social media.

4. Admission 
Admission is at the ticket holder’s own risk. By entering the Festival you consent to those in your party participating in the activities on offer. 

Tickets can only be purchased through our official website www.festivalofsportuk.com. Do not buy tickets from other third party sources, as we cannot guarantee entry or ensure these tickets are genuine. Invalid or duplicate barcodes will not be allowed entry into the festival site.

The name associated with your ticket purchase must match your ID. If you purchase a ticket from a friend, you must ensure that you inform us of the name change associated with the booking and the new ticket owner must contact us to confirm their acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and the event waivers. Tickets without a genuine name associated to them will not be allowed entry. 

Wristbands must be worn at all times. We understand that some activities may result in a wristband being damaged or lost. In this instance attendees are required to report this loss to the Festival organiser to request a replacement. Those without valid wristbands will be removed from the site. All wristbands issued by the Festival remain their property until the end of the Festival.

In order to facilitate the security, safety and comfort of all guests, the Organisers and Premises Licence Holder reserve the right to refuse admission or evict from site.

Amongst other things you will need to comply with health and safety rules and any security requirements. As the safety of our guests is a primary concern, we may operate security searches and as such you may be searched on entry and any prohibited items will be confiscated. 

You will ensure that all those in your party understand the importance of their safety and will comply with the rules and instructions given by the staff in charge. 

We have the right to refuse admission or eject you in certain circumstances and these are likely to include if you are involved with abusive, threatening, drunken or other anti-social behaviour, or carry offensive weapons or illegal or prohibited substances or make unauthorised audio, video or photographic recordings. 

Festival of Sport has a no drugs policy regarding the possession, use or sale of illegal drugs. 

The following items are not permitted: knives, all glassware, BBQs; fireworks; air horns; laser devices; drones; sky lanterns; paraffin lamps; candles; generators; chemical toilets (except where fixed within live in vehicles).

This list is not exhaustive. Festival of Sport reserves the right to confiscate any potentially harmful items at our discretion.

You may be asked to show ID to purchase alcohol if you look under the age of 25. If you cannot provide valid ID you may not be served.

Child ticket holders can only enter the Festival with the parent/guardian who purchased their tickets, who is then responsible for them throughout the event. Adults will only be permitted to enter the festival site when accompanying a child.

Unaccompanied children (aged under 18) will be refused entry at the gates. Children must be accompanied by an adult on each occasion they enter and leave the Festival. 

Children are the responsibility of their appointed adult at all times whilst at the Festival. Whilst we do not expect older children and teenagers to be with their parent or guardian at all times, we do expect them to camp together, and for the child/teenager to know the location of their adult, and have means of contacting them, or agreed meeting points. We will take action to return teenagers who are considered to be intoxicated, displaying antisocial behaviour or felt to be vulnerable, to their adults, who will be informed that failure to monitor the behaviour and activities of their teens will result in both their and their teen’s eviction from site. 

Any unaccompanied child who is not able to locate or contact their parent/guardian will be taken to a dedicated area where security and festival organisers will endeavour to contact their parents.

5. COVID-19
In light of the current COVID-19 pandemic, by accepting these Terms and Conditions, you understand that there are particular risks associated with attending any outdoor gathering (including the Festival).  We will take all reasonable steps to comply with any relevant guidelines intended to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and we will make you aware of these measures. However, we cannot be responsible for the behaviour or health of other Festival attendees and cannot effectively ensure that no attendees at the Festival will have COVID-19. Accordingly, we will not be responsible if you catch COVID-19 at the Festival and admission is at the ticket holder’s own risk. .

You understand and accept that you will be attending the Festival and using any facilities on-site at your own risk.   

To help us to reduce the spread of COVID-19, we ask that you or any of your party:

  • do not attend the Festival if*:
    • you have tested positive for COVID-19 within 10 days of the commencement of the Festival;
    • you are waiting for a COVID-19 test result
    • you display any symptoms of COVID-19;
    • you live with somebody who displays symptoms of COVID-19 or who has tested positive for COVID-19 within 10 days of the commencement of the Festival;
    • you have travelled to or had any contact with any individual travelling from any high COVID-19 risk countries in the 10 days prior to your attendance;
    • you have been contacted under the NHS Track and Trace system and told to self-isolate; or
    • you are otherwise required to self-isolate.

*note that where there is a conflict between any of the provisions in this paragraph and any updated government guidelines, the updated government guidelines will apply ;

  • follow all guidelines and/or entry requirements notified by us to you and which will apply to your attendance at the Festival. This may include testing/temperature checks on entry or prior to attending the Festival. We may be required to amend our guidelines before or during the Festival and ask that you comply with any updated guidelines notified to you;
  • follow all government guidelines (which may be updated from time to time);
  • download and use the government’s official COVID-19 tracing app or provide your contact details to a member of Festival staff as directed upon entering the Festival for the purpose of
  • notifying you where you may have come into contact with somebody who has tested positive for COVID 19;
    notify us immediately if you test positive for COVID 19  or develop a persistent cough or a temperature of 37.8 degrees centigrade or above or a sudden loss in sense of taste or smell at any point during or within 10 days following the Festival so that we can notify attendees who may have come into contact with you.

You understand that we have the right, at our complete discretion, to:

  • refuse entry to any attendee who we reasonably believe may display COVID-19 symptoms or who may not have followed Government guidelines or our guidelines or entry requirements;
  • require that any attendee leaves the Festival where we reasonably believe that they may not be complying with these terms or any of our or Government guidelines in force in relation to COVID-19.
  • For the purposes of GDPR you consent to our sharing and retaining your data to the extent that it is reasonably necessary for the safety of you and everybody on the event. (i.e. Track and Trace) (kept on file for 21 days, then destroyed)

6. Liability
Festival of Sport and the venue will not be held liable for any loss, injuries or damages sustained at the event including damage, theft or losses to property and motor vehicles, if the cause is due to the negligence of the ticket holder or the unforeseeable actions of other patrons or third parties.

By accepting these terms and conditions you agree to release and hold harmless Festival of Sport for any liability whatsoever for any damage or injury, personal or mental, which you might incur as a result of your voluntary decision to attend the Festival and participate in any activities.

Festival of Sport accepts no responsibility for goods or services purchased from third party traders.

Neither the organisers nor venue owner can accept responsibility for injury as a result of ground conditions.

We do not exclude any liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or where such limitation or exclusion is not permitted by law.

7. General
The Legends, movie, performer, activities and any other billed attractions are subject to change at any time without notice.

Strictly no trading or other commercial activity by any ticket holder will be allowed on the festival site without the organiser’s prior written consent.

Tickets cannot be used as part of any marketing, media or sales promotion whether commercial or non-commercial without prior written permission of the event organisers.

The marks, Festival of Sport and the Festival of Sport logo, are registered United Kingdom and European Community trademarks and may not be used without the express written permission of Festival of Sport UK Ltd.

Event staff who hold a first-aid qualification may administer emergency first aid where this is absolutely necessary if it is not possible for such treatment to be administered by a qualified medical practitioner.

No water source should be deemed drinking water unless specifically labelled as such. 

8. Camping and campervans
Camping is permitted in tents or campervans and in designated areas only.

The use of naked flames, including BBQs, open fires, Chinese lanterns and camping stoves is strictly forbidden at any time.

In accordance with Smoke Free Regulations, you must only smoke in the specially designated smoking areas. These will be clearly signposted.(this includes e-cigarettes). 

Sound systems, gazebos and windbreakers are not allowed

Each person in a campervan must have a Festival Entry Ticket.

No tents may be erected in the Campervan area for fire safety reasons. 

Dedicated accessible camping spaces can be available by request. You must request this in advance either by entering details where prompted during the ticket booking process or by e-mailing info@festivalofsportuk.com at least one week prior to the commencement of the festival. This is to enable us to make sure we have a space reserved for you.  

Toilets are provided in the Festival and camping sites. Chemical toilets are not permitted in the campsite. We recommend that those in campervans use the on-site toilets. If you are using your own chemical toilet, please note you must take the waste away with you. There are no facilities for accepting chemical waste and it must not be poured into on-site toilets. It is illegal to pour this waste onto the ground, into a sump or stream and anyone found doing this will be evicted from site and face a fine from the Environment Agency. 

Private generators are not permitted on site. Only electrical hook up paid for in advance and supplied by the Festival organisers will be allowed.

9. Car parking
Your parking pass will be sent to you in advance of the event and must be fixed to your windscreen prior to arriving at the festival site or entry may be refused.

Vehicles are parked entirely at owner’s risk. Festival of Sport will not be held liable for any loss or damage howsoever caused.

Once parked vehicles must not be moved until the end of the Festival.

Car parking is not pre-designated. You will be directed to park by stewards on arrival. If you require an accessible parking space please notify us in advance either by entering details where prompted during the ticket booking process or by e-mailing info@festivalofsportuk.com at least one week prior to the commencement of the festival. This is to enable us to make sure we have a space reserved for you

Blue badge holders must display a car park ticket and blue badge clearly in your windscreen to be directed to the blue badge parking areas.  

Cars are not allowed to park in the camping areas.

Any vehicle (including campervans) left on site after the festival has ended on Monday 4th August 2025 will be removed. All reasonable efforts will be made by Festival of Sport to locate the owner and remove the vehicle before this takes place. Please note, the campsite must be cleared by 10am.

10. Media
As a condition of sale, the ticket holder consents to everybody in their party being filmed, photographed and recorded for media and marketing use and or by onsite CCTV cameras and recordings for safety and security purposes. 

Filming and Photography is allowed throughout the public site for personal use. We ask that you do it respectfully and to observe data protection law. Photography and filming for commercial purposes can only be undertaken with the prior written approval from Festival of Sport and you must not sell any photography or moving images from the Festival for commercial or other gain.

Anyone using cameras or filming equipment (including all mobile devices) are expected to be courteous to their fellow festival attendees and ask permission before taking any up close shots.

Permission from a parent or guardian needs to be granted before photographing or filming any children.

No broadcaster or filming company may record any part of the Festival without the organiser’s prior permission.

The unauthorised use of drones is strictly prohibited.

Festival of Sport reserves the right to add to or amend these Terms from time to time. Amendments will take effect when posted on the Festival of Sport website www.festivalofsportuk.com. Please check the FAQs section regularly for changes and to ensure you have up to date information as you are bound by these terms and conditions. If you purchase a ticket after any amendment to these Terms, you agree to be bound by the updated version of these Terms.
